London is the capital of England, the largest city and capital of the United Kingdom and one of the largest metropolises in Europe. Wonderful London boasts a unique identity, given to it by centuries of history and centred on famous monuments, iconic landmarks, culture, fashion, entertainment and an incredibly diverse food scene. London is the epitome of multiculturalism: its more than 8 million inhabitants represent a total of 270 nationalities and speak no less than 300 different languages.
University College founded in 1966 and located in Uxbridge, West London. The campus is spacious and modern and allows you to move between classrooms, laboratories, sports facilities, the canteen and accommodation within a few minutes' walk. Central London and its main attractions are easily reached in about 40 minutes by tube.
Accommodation is provided at the Brunel University student residence. After waking up in the morning, students can go directly to the classroom by simply walking through the university gardens. Meals can be taken at the university canteen (included in the cost of the trip). Alternatively, students may choose to eat at one of the campus cafeterias, in which case they will have to pay for each meal consumed.
Work Experience in the fields of Hospitality, Marketing and Communication, Volunteering, Education. The work experience will take place in the afternoon, after the lectures and lunch at the university campus the students will have to make their own way on foot or by public transport to the work experience location. On the first day of the work experience each student will be accompanied by a supervisor during the school-to-work journey. Students will be asked to pay attention to all the supervisor's instructions in order to be able to make their own way to the place of work experience on the following day.
Price valid for a group of at least 15 participants. Should it not be possible to reach the minimum number of participants, a possible adjustment of the fee will be proposed to all members with the possibility of cancellation at no cost.

The British currency unit is the Pound Sterling (pound, £) divided into 100 pence (p). An adapter for British sockets (3 holes arranged in a triangle) is among the things you absolutely must pack.As of 1 October 2021, ID cards are no longer valid for entry into the UK, making the use of a passport compulsory. The weather in London is unpredictable all year round, so make sure you bring a heavy sweatshirt, a pair of closed shoes and a waterproof jacket.
