Regarded by many as the nation's capital of culture, Galway has been chosen as one of the European Capitals of Culture for the year 2020.
In addition to the city's strong cultural appeal, Galway is also famous for its unique city centre, a mixture of old architecture, splashes of modernism and a variety of meeting places. Squeezed into the small piece of land between the bay and Lough Corrib, Galway is a lively university town, rich in history but above all traversed by an incredibly evocative atmosphere: the piers, the quays, the little boats swaying in the sea, the constant wind that in a few minutes sweeps away the sun or brings a black sky laden with water.
British Council and English UK accredited school, guaranteeing quality teaching and hosting. Class sizes are limited to a maximum of 10 students and there are 7 teaching levels available, ranging from Beginner to Advance. The school hosts students from all over the world and has common areas where students can spend their free time and practise the language not only with each other but also with all the other students in the school.
Some of te host families have been hosting international students for more than 10 years and still do so with passion and pleasure. The stay is in a double room, you can choose your preferred Host Family through our online platform. In some cases, the bathroom is shared with one or more members of the host family.
Students have the opportunity to select their favourite work experience via our online platform. We have selected for you some of the work experiences most in line with the Italian high school curriculum. Experiences in the fields of volunteering, tourism, marketing and communication will be available. All available work experiences are valid for school credits. Every afternoon, after lunch, students will go to the Work Experiences they have selected and spend the afternoon, generally from 2.00 p.m. to 5.30 p.m., assisted by the Company Tutor. In some cases the working hours may be slightly different, please check carefully the characteristics of the Work Experience you are selecting.
Price valid for a group of at least 10 participants. If the minimum number is not reached, alternative solutions will be provided and/or the additional cost will be indicated. In any case, it will be possible to cancel the booking without penalty.
